I've never been paid to care for animals because I've always offered to care for my friend's pets for free! :) And caring for my own obviously does not come with financial benefits. I currently have a dog named Shyla and a cat named Cleo and have grown up with rabbits, hamsters, geckos, fish, birds, guinea pigs, sea monkeys, well.. you name it.. we've probably have had one at one time or another. :)
